  1. I always try to avoid pairing navy with black in clothing, it just doesn’t look good to me. But you do you, there’s nothing wrong with it.

  2. I think it looks good as long as you have at least 1 more navy thing. Socks, gloves, helmet…

I was just wearing navy jersey + black shorts this morning. Paired with white helmet, black shoes, pink socks, pink gilet. Totes fine with it.

  4. Navy blue with black is a classic combination in fashion. Of course it works. I have no idea what these people are talking about.

That’s fine. Most of my bibs are black, so the colors of the jersey are what they are. I refuse to wear all black cause it’s silly. I have dark blue jerseys but they have tiny details like stripes or reflective parts that add some zip to them. But as it is, it’s fine

  6. Fashion-wise it’s fine. I just try to avoid dark tops paired with a dark bottom when I’m riding because I feel like it makes it more difficult for cars to see me.

  7. I wear black stuff all the time. I avoid it in the middle of summer because it gets too hot.

For every instabrand stylish cyclist, there are probably a dozen out there wearing the classics and different brands while going as fast or faster.

navy blue with black is a classic feaux pas. everyone is being polite while ushering you out of the house in what is indictably offensive attire. don’t make the mistake and commit this indecency. most people here are lying to you.

  9. I rock that all the time. I actually like the navy on black better than all navy. I rock the opposite as well: navy bibs with black top. It’s subtle but I think it looks better than the full one color look.

  10. Nothing wrong with it, but I find many other combos are better. Black and navy lacks contrast. That applies to all fashion, not just cycling wear. Try black with a mid blue (royal blue or French blue) and you’ll see it looks so much better.
