Short story, my handlebar broke. So i get the replacement, the previous handlebar was an external cable one, but my bike and headset is internal, so im thinking might as well get internal one, surely the bikeshop be able to remove and reattach and do everything else needed right? Well turns out, no. He even still uses the original headset so now i have a hole in my headset.

So, is there any way to quickly just remove then reattach the hydrolic lines? Im using ltwoo. Bleedkit and other tools are on the way, but tomorrow ill need to use the bike to an event, and the tools arent gonna be here today. If theres nothing i can do, then ill need to say byebye to the event.

  1. Is it not rideable as is? Ride the event if it works now and then sort it out later. I wouldn’t touch hydraulic lines without a bleedkit at hand.
