Does this helmet fit my head?

I haven’t purchased a new helmet in some time and picked up a medium 55cm-59cm SMITH Network helmet.

My head is right between sizes. On the upper end of the medium and lower end of the large. The helmet seems to fit and there is a little room to adjust it tighter. I can fit a cycling cap underneath it.

I’m only unsure about the sizing because my last helmet was a large Giro and had plenty of room. When trying the SMITH on, the difference in shape made me question whether I bought the correct size.

Basically, does the helmet look like it fits properly? Thank you!
