Be sure that saddle position is appropriate. That’s going to put a bunch of weight on your hands.

The seat tube angle is usually a lot higher on TT bikes, so move the saddle back quite a bit and get a higher rise slightly shorter stem. Basically you want to rotate the saddle and bars backwards over the bottom bracket.
The geometry works fine if you’re not planning on racing any technical crits, I have an old Cervelo P2 that I swap back and forth periodically and it’s never given me any issues.
