  1. You mention that lower bars made the manuals easy. What’s interesting is that I felt the opposite going from 9 to 10 inch bars where manuals feel much easier to get into!

    I’ve got a FBC Dugan1, front load stem, but flipped, and after going to a 9” bar, it takes much less effort to get up, but it’s so easy to loop out. My guess would be the rear stay length it what makes the difference.
