While not specifically related to Brompton, Priority Bicycles today announced their own entry into the folding bike market, named the ‘Priority Folder’ –> [https://www.prioritybicycles.com/products/folder](https://www.prioritybicycles.com/products/folder)
At first glance the Brompton has the advantage in regard to a smaller folded size, however the price of the Priority Folder ($799) and the feature set (belt drive, 7-speed transmission, included fenders) make it very intriguing.
To be clear, I have no relationship with the company. I merely wanted to share 🙂

Saw this today, looked interesting but hidden in their video is the 210 lbs max weight!! Compared to brommie 240, I’m ~200 and I take my laptop bag to work— unfortunately this one just wouldn’t work for me! Also comes with a Velcro strap to hold down the handle bars — not very impressive…
I’m confused by the fold, it looks janky and not something you could roll around. Either that or both the folded photos are showing it partially unfolded?
Apart from the belt drive it is similar to many other folding bikes, the frame looks very generic and the price is quite high for such a bike imo.
Seeing the top view of the fold, It doesn’t fit in my life. It is a different bike, not for me
If they are making money on a $800.00 bike Its got to be cheep.
This is more of a competitor for dahon/dahon-clones
