Guys, I need your input regarding the scratches on the fork – what would you do, to make it look pretty again?
Try to find a matching Nailpolish? Rattle can in Purple and do just a broad stripe around the fork? Just clear coat and own the scratches?
Help me out, I’m open to suggestions… many thanks!

BTW – I already have a NOS locknut for the headset because the original one is so terribly scratched up as well!
Personally on xbikes I don’t mind some battle scars. They’re utility bikes more than show bikes in my humble opinion. If the scuffs bother you you could try and find some rattle can paint and try and touch up the scuffs with a small brush. Alternatively you could have the fork repainted or powder coated.
Get it covered in dirt from adventures!
Nail polish and maybe a light clear coat to unify everything, but honestly I’d leave it. Scuffs contribute to the bike’s character and make it more than just a thing, but I’m big into wabi-sabi so that’s how I view these types of things.
