MVPD's sprint was perfectly timed. Watch his launch at reduced speed and you can see he's watching Ganna watching Poggi, and when Ganna looks back again, MVPD launches. He probably gets a full pedal stroke in before Ganna can react and he's up to speed that much quicker. I can't tell from the video but I'll bet he does from 250M out, maybe closer to 300M.
