Hey, I just bought an old brompton, and am now wondering what are these stickers on it? Some registration numbers from a country I'm not familiar with?
Those used to be for insurance or something like that. Can’t quiet remember but you got a new sticker every year when i was a child.
Switzerland by the way

It wlso really looks like a sticker for parking, ive seen them around like this mostly per month you pay and then your bike can park protected and dry.

First time I raced Ironman Switzerland we had to pay for a tax sticker to go on the bike.
Next time I did the race – they’d abandoned the tax – so that was 2005 and 2009 – so that fits in with the latest one being 2006.
(so next time someone suggests a bike tax – well if the Swiss couldn’t get it to work – we have a million cars on the road without tax in the UK)
