39 y/o, 6'2, 220. Haven't ridden a bike since I was a teen probably, but just taught 3 of my kids to ride and need something to chase them on. Kids are young (3-7), but I'd like a decent bike for doing some light trails etc. The 7 y/o is on a used Nishiki Pueblo and already wanting to take it off the streets/sidewalk.

The only provided details for this bike is that they think they purchased it around 2015 for about $800. It's supposedly in "Good Condition" and was stored inside. 19" is marked on the frame.

Questions:

  1. Would I reasonably be able to ride it? I've heard a too small bike is way better than too big, and it's been a hot minute since I was on a bike, so I feel like that should be fine, but you're the experts.
  2. What is exactly is it? I've read about rockhoppers and they seem nice, anything major to look out for?
  3. What would you pay for it? It's listed at $150, which is more than I'd ideally like to spend to just ride around supervising the kids, but if it's really a great deal I'd consider it.

I think it’s 2 to 3 sizes too small.. 1 size too small is better than one size too big, but two or three is not going to work I feel
