I recently moved to the US (NY) from the Caribbean to stay with my Aunt. My goal was to come out here and practice/train as much as possible to further my skills in this sport. I always wanted to but never had the money, support, friends or environment to push myself to learn I recently decided a year ago that I wasn’t going to let that stop me and began to put in the work but there is only so much you can do (risks you can take) riding alone.
My Aunt decided last month that she can no longer stay in NY so I have no choice but to move but it starting to seem as if my plans will be foiled and I’ll be back to riding whatever I could find (street). I am not the best by any means (a decent bunny hop, 180, tap 360). I really wish I was able to stay in New York Much longer as the BMX scene out here is much larger. But I am just getting setup in the US.
My questions are
Are there any skate parks in the Moline, IL area?
Are there any riders out there?
How big is the BMX scene out there?
I recently purchased a new bike a month ago and haven’t been able to ride as much as I would like due to weather and bad family circumstances.
(My aunt made me her unpaid babysitter for the past month since I got my bike and it has taken away the mass majority of time I had to put into riding)

I think you could have googled this and got a faster and better answer than asking a bunch of people who don’t live in Moline
