Received my Aeroad CF SLX today and it came with this tube of grease. Don’t find it anywhere in the manual. However, I bought pedals together with the bike. Is it supposed to be used as grease for mounting the pedals?
Yes, you can use that generic grease on pedal threads. However, I suggest using anti-seize compound for additional protection against seizing. You can also undo your pedals, clean, regrease, and re-do them every year or so, again to prevent seizing in the long term.

If you use bottle cages, can’t hurt to use it on the screws too.
