I am looking for a new bike and I want it for my cardio health. And exploring route along side the river. There are proper roads too but much of the trails are in such condition. Will the thin tires of fx2 be an issue that I should consider mountain bike or dual sport trek? Thanks in advance for inputs

Are thin tyre Hybrid bike suitable for such surface?
An FX2 would be fine. If the ride seems too harsh use less air or get bigger tires. The dual sport would be a bit more plush. A mountian bike with suspension would be overkill.
Oh no, therea a bit of dirt. Better get a mountain bike.
Sorry, I had to
I have a ds3 and it is a bit of a slog on this type of terrain, but it handles rougher gravel very well. If you think your only gonna be on this small grain gravel paths than a fx2 will be a great ride for you. However, if you think you might go on some rougher ground a ds might be nice
I don’t make a habit of it, but I take my high end race bike with GP5000s TR on tow paths worse than this. The FX2 will be fine.
Maybe 23mm tires on a road bike would be a little harsh but this kind of premium gravel is very nice to ride 🙂
You don’t imagine in what kinds of shit I’ve been riding on much thinner tires.
So absolutely it’s suitable.
I’d say that road bike can go on everything that barely looks like road.
Bikes with bigger tires can go on everything else.
