I got this bike really cheap and couldn’t resist because I really liked the frame and the idea of the kind of bike (street fighter/comfortable road bike). My question is now: What should I do with it? I’m new to bike mechanics but I think the drive train is in rough shape. I always wanted to own a fixie. Is this bike suitable for conversion? Do you have other ideas? Is there some reason I shouldn’t bother with this bike?

Cool bike! You’d need a new wheel with the right axle to go fixed gear. I’d just convert to single speed, throw some new tires on if they’re older, tune everything up and go ride!
