The aluminum aerobars I have are bent following a crash. I can't see any cracks on the bar. The crash wasn't too bad, but since my bike was heavy with all the bags/gears, it probably caused the bars to bend under weight. The crash didn't cause a sudden impact, the bike slipped and went down a smooth gravel descent. Is it a bad idea to ride with these again?

I dunno if it’s unsafe, you hardly put any weight on them. If safety is your only concern I wouldn’t be to worried but not lining up in the center would drive me nuts
Not unless they’re kinked or dented.
If it worries u then replace to be safe
From my experience being around others riding with aerobars, they are unsafe if they are attached to a bicycle.
I wouldn’t trust any answer saying it’s nothing to worry about. Aluminium doesn’t bend. Any movement at all creates fatigue. I wouldn’t trust it at all. But I also don’t trust Aluminium to ride with anyway.
“safe aerobars” haha is this a trick question?
**As a rule of thumb:**
Anything Aluminium + Bent = Big NoNo
probably not great for your body or fit in anyway
Are they actually bent or do they just need straigtening by lossening off all the bolts and resetting their position?
I would keep riding them personally, aero bars are not typically very stressed during normal use. Look for a replacement if you want, but I wouldn’t be concerned about continuing to use them in the meantime
