OP here. Oops, this posted before I was finished writing.

Basically I’m in Cyprus. I don’t think there are any official Brompton outlets so I doubt I’d be able to find a replacement bag. I’m under the gun in terms of time. I made a whole bunch of travel plans and just noticed that the zipper was broken. I figure I can take it to a tailor or shoe repair place and see what they suggest. Maybe it’s a matter of sewing up the whole side so I can at least take it on the plane and buy a replacement bag when I get to a city with a Brompton store. There is a break in the continuity of the teeth on the left side, just above where I got a small segment joined. Any ideas?

  2. I think it is possible to replace YKK zipper slider locally. If the zipper itself is okay then that’s the fix.

Another dirty fix is to sew another one zipper over existing zipper. Will looks kinda weird but also a solution. A loooong time ago I did it to my backpack.

Put your luggage in the bag. Duct tape it, or put a couple of luggage straps in it. Whatever it takes to get there. Get it fixed when you arrive.

  4. As someone else mentioned, duct tape or luggage strap or something.

Then dump the whole thing in an ikea dimpa bag or something similar, or if the airport there offers that plastic-wrap luggage wrapping service, that would be great.
