I have a Trek Fuel EX 9.8, currently with the stock tires (XR4 2.6 front and 2.4 back). I have decided on the aggressor tire and bought a 2.5WT front and 2.3 back. My question is would you put 2.5WT on both front and back or stick with slightly smaller in back with the 2.5 and 2.3?

Try both set ups .
It’s more common for people to run a slightly wider tire in the front for more traction where it’s more important
Front tire is typically the one you’d go wider on. That said I never liked having different tire or rim widths when leaning the bike. Kind of worked for technical downhill but sucked for cruising.
You know what the WT means right?
I have a 2.3 aggressor on the rear and that tire hooks up.
I don’t think the aggressor is meant for a front and rear setup. If I was you I’d return the 2.3 Aggressor and buy an Assegai 2.5 for up front .
I run a 2.5 assegai on front and 2.3 aggressor on back. 2.5 on front makes such a huge difference for traction
The WT is a wider tread pattern that is optimized for 30-35mm internal width rims.
The non-WT tires (like the 2.3 you have there) are suited for rims less than 30mm.
It looks like the wheels you have are 29mm internal, which is just under the recommended width for the WT tires. I imagine you could go either way and the tires would do you well.
As others have said though, Agressors are made to be a rear tire. You can’t go wrong with a Minion DHF or Assegai up front.
the aggressor isn’t an ideal front tire. Get something more suited to the front. DHF2 or Assegai (assegai is slow but the grip is great)
