So my stairs to the basement are narrow and the ceiling is low, making carrying my bike up and down a real PITA. My wife was pissed that my bike was in the living room all the time.
I looked at Saris Infrastructure's bike ramp and an 8' section was over $300 IIRC and the mounting would be fairly permanent.

Instead, I picked up two 4"x4' pieces of angle aluminum and some clamps for $56 plus tax at Lowes. I'll borrow an angle grinder to smooth the edges and cut the corner off at the bottom, but it was much easier getting the bike down during my test.

Why not screw them in? Return the clamps and buy some screws.
