I’m wondering is the Canyon CP0008 XC Cockpit is compatible with any type of mount that would support a Garmin a light mount of the Go-Pro type.
Maybe somebody knows if this one is compatible?

I’m not sure if the handlebar I mention has screw holes beneath to attach the k-edge or some other type of support.

No that mount will not work with that cockpit. Canyon do sell a mount that will work with a computer but it didn’t fare well for me, cracked after one ride. This is what I have done, the Garmin mount that came with my Edge 1000, I put a bit of neoprene under the mount to protect the bar.
