I was riding and my seatpost got loose and my seatpost bottom out way past the MAX clearance. Now it is stuck in the rubber clasp/clamp and I can't pull it out. What do i do here?
1. Loosen clamp, and gently twist the saddle side to side while pulling up.
2. Loosen clamp, brace the bike by putting a foot on a pedal, and gently but firmly tap upward on the bottom of the saddle with a rubber mallet. Be sure to tap on the rails, as close as possible to the clamp.
Once you get it free, I’d be very carefully checking both the post and the frame for cracks. It’s probably fine, but those parts aren’t exactly designed to fit together the way they currently fit together.
