It’s a gravel bike. It’s the same model and year as mine. I would not recommend this over an Optimo 3 for use in a triathlon.
Oh, and it’s a 2022 bike, original price $1299, and truthfully, Specialized priced it too high then. But we were just coming out of the pandemic and bikes were still in short supply.
It is not ideal for Tri, it is a gravel bike. It is on the expensive for what it is. A new entry level Diverge can be had for 1300 and a more road focused Allez can be had for 1200. If you can get under 900 I would be interested.
