But it does look like a presta pump head will work

That’s a Regina valve. Same as a Presta but with a removable cap. You chan fill it the Presta bit from the pump or replace the air chamber with a Presta one.
looks like a woods valve to me presta pump should fit
It’s an Italian valve. Similar to and competitor for the Presta valve. The Presta pump head fits this.
