online and print photos can vary from real life. I don’t think you’re being nit-picky, but the only way to really know what color it is – is to actually see it before buying it. Are you able to return it?

Every website everywhere says the colour on screen might look different when viewed in person or words to that effect.

  3. Here is Cannondale’s official response:

    > Thank you for contacting us, and congratulations on your new bike! This distinct colorway changes its appearance depending on the lighting conditions, but it looks right. Please note that our color descriptions pertain to the Cannondale decal on the bike.

My real theory is that there was a screw up with the paint and they forgot to add enough the blue to the yellow and now are trying to gaslight anyone who got that batch.

I get that it’s hard to make an image on a website match actual paint, but this is kinda egregious…

Any chance you have a bike store by you that carries? Quick compare in person and prove that is 100000% not the same color

  6. Some colors do look wildly different in different light conditions. What does it look outside in the daylight?

  7. If it makes you feel better, I think the actual color is way better than the one in the image.

  8. it’s def not but would need to see yours under great lighting/sun. yours looks more mustardy and there’s looks yellowee-green

  9. Not the same colour, but take a pic in full sun.

I prefer the mustard bike, but this is not what you bought

The color does vary quite a bit depending on the lighting. If you search Google images for this color you can compare. For example, check out the images here: [https://www.bikeradar.com/reviews/bikes/road-bikes/cannondale-supersix-evo-3-review-2](https://www.bikeradar.com/reviews/bikes/road-bikes/cannondale-supersix-evo-3-review-2)

And Jenson has a real life photo that looks like yours: [https://www.jensonusa.com/Cannondale-SuperSix-EVO-3-Bike](https://www.jensonusa.com/Cannondale-SuperSix-EVO-3-Bike)

Edit: For the record, I think Cannondale whiffed on accurately photographing the color. I’ve seen it in the store and I don’t think the website photos reflect reality.

  11. I have the Green Viper and the Cannondale pic is a lot more accurate than your indoor pic.

It’s still a strange color though but your picture does not do it justice. I seriously doubt they have mixed the colors wrong.

Take it out in 6000K daylight and snap another picture

  12. yeah so many people are telling you its the same but ive got a neon bike right here and in yellow light, it doesn’t look mustard yellow likes yours

I think they look the same, just under different lighting. The lighting in the stock photo is much cooler than the lighting in your home. I agree with other commenters that the best way to experience a color is in person. I hope that you are able to return the bike if you’d like, but I think it’s a fun color.

  14. Did you google image search the bike or read reviews before buying it? There is so much variation between screen and in-person and that’s not taking into account renderings as it appears on the right.

What is the point of asking a rhetorical question? Obviously the colors look different. I like both colors although for different reasons. Do you not like the color of the bike you received? Are you trying to return the bike? [You have 15 days to return it.](https://support.cannondale.com/hc/en-us/articles/1500009636642-Cannondale-Online-Purchase-Return-Policy) Are you outside of that window or are they refusing to allow the return (which sounds to be against their policy)?
