That was a cracking ride! Great weather for it and some pleasant scenery too (including a rather tasty looking American pick up at 5:21!). Leeds is actually looking quite good too – they've done it up a bit since I last went! Rich did also find some of the grottier bits too but all towns have them. That canal path got a bit busy though, and why if you've just overtaken a runner but had to stop for some reason briefly, do they always run on in front of you and get in your way all over again? 🙄 No awareness some folk!
Those channels down each side of that footbridge are for wheeling your bike up or down I believe, but those mountain bikers didn't seem to know that, unless their tyres were too fat for them maybe. I bet they'd make great tracks for Hot Wheels cars too!
