Portland International Raceway hosts bike races over the summer, and I’ve done a Time Trial on a Nascar track once. I wish more places did this, since it’s often municipal owned, the bikes can’t do any damage to the surface, and any injuries we sustain will pale in insurance costs vs. a crash in an actual car race.

Laguna Seca has bike nights once a month (except in winter).
It’s awesome. It’s just open lapping not a racing or anything. There’s small kids and slow people but there’s enough space so that you can mostly go flat out without any worries. Turn 2 is the only corner fast/tight enough to where you want to be on the racing line, so congestion there can slow you down.

Cota Does this as well, almost every Tuesday night $15
The climb up T1 will absolutely kick your ass.
Is it already open ??
It’s a great place to run as well. When I’ve been in Montreal for work I’ve sometimes Metro’d to the track to get a training run in.
I try for the optimum line and make race car noises.
I often ride at Zolder in Belgium. Ride on a race track has a fun vibe. Using the apex in a curve.
The track at Spa is opening for bicycles during a few evenings each year! https://www.spa-francorchamps-tickets.com/fr/cyclon-track
When is this today? March 21
