TREK Domane sl6 gen 4 105 di2 vs Specialized aethos comp 105 di2. I would like to hear what do you guys think. Which one is better bike for every day, mostly flat, recreational riding? Same money and groupset, can't decide. Thank you all for answers.

Do you want a race geo road bike or an endurance geo road bike? IMO, these two shouldn’t be compared.
The Aethos is a lightweight climbing bike with a more aggressive riding position. The Domane is an upright endurance bike which most will find more comfortable (not me though) and will have more tire clearance. The Aethos aligns more closely to the now defunct Emonda or the newest Madone (although the Tarmac is the closer comparison.) The Domane should be compared to the Roubaix.
Aethos. Ist pure and minimalistic, very comfortable ride. Isospeed is expensive to maintain and the domane is heavy.
Do you want a lightweight, nimble, fairly comfortable bike that’s very responsive, with a non-integrated bar and stem, making it very easy to work on?
Or a bike that prioritizes comfort above everything else with the option of running 38 mm tires and integrated bar & stem which looks great… but sucks to work on.
For daily, flat, recreational riding, both will perform similarly and the domane will be a great bike. Any climbing involved and the Specialized will win very easily. Very different bikes.
