Gotta admit it's my first Brompton, always had Surlys. I love the build quality (from first glance) and i really dig the matte finish but man… For a 3000€ bike the decals realy suck. Just cheap stickers, that delaminate within the first two days

It’s an issue on all Bromptons due to the fact they powdercoat applying decals is trickier than with a normal paint. They could use water slide decals but the application takes time and practice.
As to the G line due to the textured finished your not going to have perfect adhesion for the decals unfortunately.
I haven’t noticed that on mine, but I do think some corners have been cut.
The cable guides are badly positioned and the square taper BB and crank are just a shit choice.
