My visa to visit Europe is expiring in 9 days… and I am smack dab in the middle of the continent with a bike… So we need to ride hundreds of miles in just a few days to be able to avoid serious legal problems with overstaying my visa…..

TBH I think the most difficult is to ride single-handed after a long while without riding a bike.
Also, gravel does not puncture the tires, you have way more danger in roads where it's flat and really pointy things (like screws, nails or shards of glass) stick out
You really need a bike helmet. In some countries you could well get pulled by the police.
note to self when buying a tent make sure it is one of those popup tents, and that it has inner and outer lining … 😁👍
