I’ve been looking for a hardtail to be my first “real” bike, it’d be used on single track dirt trails, some gravel, and pavement. It seems the San Quentin might be a bit more aggressive than I need for those things, but for $500 the component set seems worth it? It includes a dropper, tubeless tires, and upgraded grips.
