For our local terrain 18x 24,36,40 seems to be about the sweetspot.

Mate those front shocks are cool af, personally I’d put a big old cassette on the back, whack a 38t on the front, do away with the triple. Basically strip it all right back and just the shocks do the talking, very cool 👍

That is a very, very rare fork.

So you have three chainrings and all the front shifting equipment on your bike but also a derailleur despite only having one cog in the back? What exactly am I missing here? Why not just have one chainring and no shifting equipment in the front and a derailleur and three cogs in the back? Does this serve an actual purpose or are you just being contrarian? I don’t mean to be rude but I’m struggle to make sense of it in my head.

Super fun build, love the concept. But I can’t unsee the remnants of the rear derailleur cable just hanging out there. Unless I’m missing that there’s a reason for it being needed? Used as a micro adjust? Anyway just curious!

Running 18 x 24/34/44 currently.
Exactly the fork I’d expect from someone running a tringle
Couldn’t choose between gearings so I chose two, 24 when pedaling forwards, 16 backwards. 42-34-24 in front. My triple rétro-directe :

Like you, I kept a whole deraileur just for chain tension. It also slightly improves the inherent chainline problems.
I wouldn’t touch that fork with a ten-foot pole.
Low, medium, high
Kool! Fervor with Pulse’s Leader option or sourced separately?
