I’m going to pair this 13t-52t with a 1x chain ring in the front and I am hoping for some advice. I live in a very hilly city and I would Iike to have a good climbing gears. The max teeth the front ring can have is 40. Any advice would be very much appreciated.

This cassette also comes in a 9-50 option. If you run a 36 tooth chainring, the 36-9 is ~the same as a 44-11 (bigger than a lot of 1x biggest gears) and you’ll still have a 36-50 which is insanely easy to spin.
What kind of bike? If mtb you prolly want a 30 or 32.
