You’re supposed to call them little people, and like most people they mostly come outside when the weather is nice.
I’m going at the end of June this year, starting from Giant’s Causeway rather than Dublin however. As for whether it’s the best, I don’t know, I just looked on Gaisma to check which months are the driest!
I think you mistake midgets with midgies: midgies are like mosquitos, midgets are tiny people lol
