The cube looks more modern, more aero, D-shaped seatpost, fully integrated cables, matte finish. Trek still looks absolutely fine, but might start to look outdated in some years.

Ones an aero bike and the other a aggressive hill climb bike.

The trek would be ace for a wider array of riding potentially. Although the cube will feel fast and rewarding to ride on flatter terrain with higher average speeds.

If you’re riding that much and this is your only bike I’d prioritize fit unless $ is the biggest issue

  4. Id say go for the one you visually like more, since you would rather go on a ride of you like the bike visually. But if thats not the matter to you, on one hand if you cycle 50km the trek is more than enough for you, easier to service and maintain (no integrated cables) and you would be saving 800 bucks and can spend it on other gear. But cube is more modern. I would say that for your needs you wouldnt quite see much difference riding those bikes.

  5. Easy. The cube. Di2 ultegra will be great. Load of tyre clearance for using wider tyres. The geometry on the cube looks good, far more modern bike.

I got a 2023 C62 Race last year second hand. It’s my first road bike that’s not like 10+ years old. I’m a more casual cyclist for context but I love it so much. It’s a total rocket and feels super stable at high speed. It’s very race orientated in a more endurance based set up. Can’t give it enough praise
