It’s hard to tell what’s going on here. Would you take some from the other side as well and as good as you can showing the route of the chain. They honestly look the same to me from this angle

Didn’t notice the difference at first and I thought I was going crazy, But B is correct. A will make the chain grind on the derailleur.
