From what I’ve read, carved Brooks saddles chew through jeans like candy.

I have a Brooks B17 and a B17s and haven’t had any issue with jeans discomfort, but it could be the type/brand of jeans. Every body is different, maybe a Brooks just isn’t a good fit for you. Have you used one before, does it feel comfortable with other pants/shorts? Saddles are way too personal for anyone to really be able to tell you a carved will or won’t improve your issue.

I think you’ll feel your taint being tickled by the jean stitches on any semi hard surface your taint happens to touch

Why I don’t wear jeans on a bike ride. At least wear padded shorts underneath.

  4. Happens with some pants of mine, others feel fine. Maybe get some ass-free ones 😀

Is the saddle relatively new? These need to be broken in and as with everything leather that may include phases of discomfort to some areas.

Yeah, I ride in jeans or jorts 90% and fucked off all my Brooks saddles for narrower saddles with cutouts. So much more comfortable now

Should be all good in roughly 1500 miles. When you get there… sublime.

  8. Beautiful bike!

I’d suggest a cutout, from everything I’ve looked at, any saddle for men should objectively have a cutout for ergonomics, same for women, but just shaped differently.

  9. Ya, thats the down side. I’ve been able to find a good middle ground that works for me. Not too high so that it gives too much pressure, not too low that I feel like I’m falling off
