Just wanted to share my first xbike project. Let me know what ya think!
97/98ish gt backwoods that i got as a hand me down from my dad around 2011. I used it as my main commuter throughout highschool but it mostly collected dust after graduating. Ive always enjoyed riding and tinkering with bikes and have been wanting to put somthing together for my local gravel trails, so i figured why not give my old clapped out steed a refresh! I still have alot left to do and learn but im super stoked for the end result 😀

Yeah looks awesome. Tires are worth more than the whole bike so that’s definitely xbike. I do suggest putting a chain on it.
