I’m going to add some context, because I’m sure someone is wondering why I would think winter was over in Alaska. Well, this winter in Anchorage, Alaska we saw the LEAST amount of snow ever recorded (since recording began in the early 1900’s) from November to February with a total of 5 inches falling in that period. Last year we had something like 100 inches of snow in Anchorage, in that time period.
Up until a few days ago, it was like spring in a place that imagine has a Spring. Anchorage doesn’t generally have Spring, so to speak. We have winter, then break up – which is shit, and then we have a week that we call summer. Then it’s rainy season until October, and then winter again.
So, there, context!
Very curious what “break up” season is. I imagine everyone’s winter relationships going to shit before that week you call summer.
