Hello guys. Hoping to get some help from someone who can give me some pointers. I want to buy a second hand Van Rysel RCR as my first road bike on buycycle but I can’t find any physical stock in any decathlon centers in my country. Therefore I cannot go there and see how its sizing fits me. I have seen several RCR reviews on YouTube, and a bike specialist who made this decathlon sponsored review who is 5 ft 10 (177.8 cm) and rides an XS link to the video below. It really confuses me because it is completely different from what the sizing guide says, so according to it he should be riding a size M. So, if I am a 1,89 cm what bike do you suggest I should be looking at? On a side note, I’d prefer to go for comfortable position for long distances rather than aggressive for shorter quick sprints.
Any guidance appreciated.

It’s hard to say. By the charts I should be on a 56 or 54, but most of my height is in my massive head and long torso, so I actually ride a 52 with a long stem.
Can I ask why you want a rare bicycle as your first road bike? Why not buy a bicycle that you’ve been able to test ride, then after a couple thousand miles, you’ll have an idea of what you like in a fit and you can get your Van Rysel.
You should be following decathlon recommendations. At 189 you are going to want the XL. You should look at the stack and reach numbers compared to your current bike. This said it’s a race bike with, geometry that leans more towards aggressive so if you want comfort this likely isn’t it.
