Neither one of these is a good deal. What are your intentions for the bike?

Assuming the bikes are in good condition I would probably choose the Specialized over the giant
    It has 105 vs Sora
    Rim brake vs mechanical disc
    Carbon frame vs alloy
    And it just looks cooler

It is probably older than the Giant though, and there’s more risk associated with the frame.
Those zertz things in the fork and seat stay can get too old, and finding replacements now would be next to impossible.

For the prices that are mentioned I would think you can do better.
Although I can understand if choice is pretty limited in very small sizes.

  3. both are decent
argue the ruby to 600 – its a great bike thats a bit old. its also very light and comfortable. it was an endurance bike in its day. you cant put wider tires. you may need to change the gearing if you do hills. if you do gravel, this wont take very wide tires. 28s.

the giant is a far more versatile bike. also a little overpriced. its much newer. you can go offroad. it has disc brakes. it also had easier gearing. its also much heavier.
