Crashed my bike a few weeks ago and I’ve still been riding with the same helmet I crashed on, is it still safe to wear or should I replace it? there’s also many more tiny dents and scratches here and there but other than that it’s still looks fine, any advice are appreciated thank you 🤙

(Specification) I crashed through a steel barricade head on at 30km/h and land on a tarmac.

If the helmet hits the deck you need to change it. No exceptions. Your helmet is only designed for one impact.

I suppose a impacted helmet is better than no helmet If that’s your circumstances

Yes. Any helmet you bonk needs to be replaced. Hell, you’re not even supposed to drop moto helmets.

Your brain piece is more valuable than a $50 helmet. Since the tech is out there and negligible in price, it’s best to always go for a MIPS helmet.

  3. Yes, it needs to be replaced. If you want a road helmet, I have a new Bell Lynk MIPS helmet that I’d be happy to mail you for free. PM if you want it
