Here we are crossing the Klausenpass, one of the strategic East-West connections in the Central Swiss Alps. We are starting in Altdorf, the place where Wilhelm Tell was forced in 1307 to shoot an apple off the top of his son’s head. Shortly after the ride starts we even pass a commemorative statue early on, before leaving civilization behind on our way up the Klausenpass. After 1450m of climbing, first surrounded by lush mountains and later on rising above the tree line, with vistas of grass, rock and sky, we finally reach the Hotel Klausenpass, approx. 1.5Km from the summit.

thank you for the live sound. videos with good sound get saved and taken for several rides; videos w/out sound, no matter how otherwise pretty and well done, get ignored. respect, thank you for all your work.

Excellent! Unlike other channels that call themselves "bike" and use cars or motorcycles to film, this one is actually on a bike!
I have a spinning bike at home that I use for Z2 training, and I often leave these videos playing while I pedal the spinning bike in front of the screen.
