It's finally on the road! A 1996 Fuji folding mountain bike. These were not terrible frames, heavy mainly because of the hinge. Nothing special 1990s Chromo Taiwanese frame, but the stock components were bottom of the barrel heavy steel.

This one has been totally remodeled with new 650b wheels, ColDelavie gravel tires, Shimano LX drive train and alloy bars and seatpost. It rides reasonably well, intended to be a comfortable road/gravel bike that can get chucked in the back of the car. A respectable cheap 30lb bike that folds.

Good to get that out of my system!

that design of folder is awesome! the chain stays on the drivetrain, and it has full size wheels unlike those lame 20″ ones. Great choice, and with 20lbs left for the bag and your gear as checked luggage.
