It’s not bad. It’s not great.
I would have to imagine, for the age, this bike needs some type of service. Tune-up, new chain, cassette, bottom bracket, bearings, cables, tires, cables? Who knows! Maybe it was never used? Maybe it full clapped out!
I would budget +$300/$400 to be safe. Take it to a trusty bike shop and get it serviced and replace anything drivetrain/braking related
If that seems like it’s still within your budget, might be worth it!
