Over the year I couldn’t get into my lowest 4 gears shortly after installing.
Yesterday I wanted to fix it.
I spent a day tuning the derailleur, checking the hanger alignment etc.
Being an amateur I didn’t consider the shifter housing. Found a reddit post which led me to finding this monstrosity

Yikes! Cooked!
Your cable frayed. Get everything out then check if all the gears are working. Maybe it is toast but maybe not. I would advice flushing with oil when you get it working.
