Anyone else cover all usable flat space with parts and hardware and tools and beer while tinkering? No matter how much I try to be a clean-as-I-go guy I always finish a project with this amount of cleanup. I almost always reset to a clean and functional space and all my stuff has dedicated homes and organization, but when I’m in the thick of it I can’t be bothered to slow down. I have another big Husky bench off to the right of this that is inevitably in the same condition.

She usually ends up back like this at the end. Very satisfying.
I can only aspire to be that neat.
This is way way tidier than my bench in its default state
Same
Glad it’s not just me …my workspace is way worse than this as I do a lot of automotive work too, greasy ass parts and bolts laying everywhere and I hate myself for it
Only my dad’s generation gets to have a house, with a garage and a workbench. That’s for rich people…
Here’s my work bench. (My wife had to leave the room, so that I could open the cupboard door to take it out for the photo)

Looks like the correct amount of tools, angle grinder and raided bolt supplies to correctly fit a set of fenders to me. Those things never fit well out the box.
