Bought this Peugeot (PR10 I believe, it has the
"Reynolds 531 3 tubes renforcés" sticker on the
frame) from 1977 for 50€ two weeks ago (seller
was the original owner but couldn't find the bill).

The gears on the rear derailleur where in pieces
and the bottom bracket as well as the headset
needed to be disassembled

The bikes has 6 gears on the cassette and a
triple crankset which is not standard (as for the
wheels and the saddle). Those are all changes
the original owner made after falling to cling the
Mont Ventoux (stopped at 800m due to wind
apparently). I chose to keep them because I liked
the story

Haven't repainted the bike either, I feel like the
few scruffs here and there kinda tells it's story

Just took my first ride after after restoring it.
Rides like a charm.

Looks great, congratulations! It seems that it had a few upgrades on it. 50 EUR is a steal for such a bike. I guess you are from France? 🙂
