Today I say farewell to my 1990 Stumpjumper. It’s served me well over the last year on permanent city duty – everything from bar hopping to grocery getting. I originally purchased it for $35 and overhauled it with my parts bin.
Unfortunately I am moving (temporarily) and cannot store all of my bikes. When my barber asked if she could borrow it while I’m gone I told her that she could have it in exchange for one last haircut. It may not be an even trade but I am all about getting new people into cycling, and she’s cool and deserves to ride a cool bike.
