JV is really bad at following the wheel. We didn't see him pulling either, right? His engine is so great it can make up for all the bad handling. I do wonder what good specific drills on following the wheel and smooth turns could do in terms of energy savings. I know lovers will say he is great but just look at Campenaerts and Jorgenson.

I don't know if I like this TTT format. I love the TTT but seems more of the team should have to cross at the same time.
Doesn't feel like a team time trial unless most of the team has to cross to get the time. Interesting.

Bring the TTT back to the TdF!
Expensive weird bikes, goofy helmets adding $ to Continental teams. Start doing TT's on cx bikes with a pavement, MTB trail section, BMX berms/bobsled section a table top jump (with sand on top making jumping faster) & a few curb high bunny hops…then I will get into it. BTW, do team TT's on standard rd bikes
