Today I crashed today and the hydraulic cable connecting my dropper post lever. I can’t really afford to fix it at a shop as it’s like 100 bucks and they are backed up so it would be a while.
With the correct parts, which are relatively inexpensive, and a couple of basic tools plus brake fluid and a bleed kit it’s fixable at home.
Have a look on YouTube there are loads of good detailed videos showing you how to do it.

Absolutely. Pretty similar to a brake job. Need a barb, olive, a bleed kit, and whatever fluid these things take. You could do it yourself but if you have no experience bleeding brakes I would just have the shop do it.
