Hey everyone im hoping someone could help me decide my first MTB, I love riding on the road, gravel and light-medium trail. Seller wants $500 AUD.
Many people told me look for something with 1×10 or 1×11, this bike is 2×10 but i dont understand why it might be such a big difference. Can someone explain?
Finally, the fork looks like it writes XCR and not XCM. Can anyone confirm?

2x the derailleur = 2x the hassle. It’s also less intuitive to use than a 1x and more finnicky than a rear derailleur.
Though, at about 300 USD, it’s not the worst deal on the planet, its just not good; consider a used 1x Trek bike, like a used Marlin 7/8
